4D studio - Experiments with sound and video Part Dos

I made another one because I had time. I think this one is better.

Also, for an update on my animation: I'm going to film it, then animate over it with Photoshop and Quicktime. PS 5 has a fun little "puppet" tool for animating, and I plan to take great advantage of this for my animation. Who knows? I might be able to put a story into it too. ;)

4D Studio - Animation!

And now we come to my favorite part of the show: Animation! I've only done one big all-for-gold animation, and although it took me 222 frames and 11 hours of work, I loved it. So I'm very excited to get back into the swing of things.
For this assignment, I have two ideas:

1. Ripping off McGee & Me. Yes, that's what I'm calling this idea. I'm going to film myself drawing my purple fox character, and then draw over the frames (probably with WMM and MS Paint), having my fox character come out of the paper and crawl up on my shoulder, and then leap into the paper. And if I have time, I'll animate a sequence where my fox runs through a world that I draw. No dialogue, and I'll probably use Glenn Miller's "Little Brown Jug" or something similar for background music.
Here's what I mean by McGee & Me:

2. My second (er, backup) idea is to make a wire-and fur/fabric posable figure and create a stop-motion animation. I've never worked with stop motion before, so I'd rather not try this one just yet.

3D Studio - Functional Ceramics

Isa dragon mug! I'm continuing my use of dragons in clay with this piece. I've made two dragon figurines with clay before and I liked incorporating this little guy into this mug. Hopefully I can glaze it sometime.

4D studio - Experiments with sound and video

Sound edited and videos clipped. I've done similar projects, so I wasn't worried. I actually had a lot of fun.

3D studio: Wires and mugs

Two projects to post:
First, my wire sculpture of my dog running.

And second of my plan for my clay project:
It's a dragon mug! I seem to have a thing for dragons in clay. Odd, but adorable.

4D studio - Pretty Polyhedrons!

Well, I wasn't sure if I was supposed to upload this when I'm done or after class, so...here's my first project! It's a Tesseract. A 4-dimensional polyhedron. I've been told it looks pretty.

For starters: Just a class blog

'Ello! I have a blog now. :D For now this'll just be for class, but I'll put some fun stuff on when class is done. Until then, enjoy my class projects!
